For me, Ramsey is the place to relax after a long day at work. It starts with the drive to get home, along Ramsey’s rivers and trails and past the parks and playgrounds. It’s important to me that these resources are preserved for all Ramsey residents and that is one reason I am running for City Council. I believe that I can utilize my business knowledge and experience from the EPB to balance the community needs and make Ramsey an even greater place to live.
I was involved in the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan (the city’s plan for future land use) as it pertained to the EPB. As a member of the EPB, I was involved in reviewing planned construction proposals as well as approving water and forest conservation programs, with a focus on preserving and enhancing the natural environment for Ramsey. As a small business owner, I understand infrastructure concerns and taxation issues. As a resident of Ramsey, I know that a community thrives when businesses and residents work together.
If I am elected to the Ramsey City Council, I will be transparent. I am committed to digging into the issues, gathering all the data I can and most importantly, listening to what you, my neighbors in Ward 1, want to share with me and the City Council. I ask for your support and your vote on February 9th.
